RACE DETAILS
TEAMS
- Teams consist of a minimum of 5 - 7 runners
- Top 5 finishers score for the team; 6th and 7th runners may displace other teams’ scorers
- Scoring is based on place, not time (low score wins)
- Team score = sum of finishing places of top 5 runners
- Perfect score = 15 points (1st through 5th place sweep)
- Ties are broken by comparing the 6th runner’s finish position
- There is no limit to number of runners on each team
- Run Clubs can register more than one team, ex: CTC A, CTC B, CTC C.
INDIVIDUAL RUNNERS
- This is not just a team race; individual runners are WELCOME!
- Individual runners will start at the same time as teams.
- Wear assigned bib number visibly on the front.
- Must complete the full course distance to receive an official time and place.
MORE DETAILS
- Packet pick up will close at 8am
- Once the race starts, and the runners take off, the start will be closed.
- Teams should rock the same colors, make it fun!

We provide outlets for all members to continue to run, walk, and compete (if they choose).

CTC has organized/participated track & field events, local group runs/walks, and 5k/10k road races on all levels in Charlotte, NC since 2001. In 2006, CTC hosted the USATF Masters National Championships at UNCC and impacted over 1,500 participants. Since then, CTC has hosted/organized many track & field series at UNCC (2008-2018). Ano
CTC has organized/participated track & field events, local group runs/walks, and 5k/10k road races on all levels in Charlotte, NC since 2001. In 2006, CTC hosted the USATF Masters National Championships at UNCC and impacted over 1,500 participants. Since then, CTC has hosted/organized many track & field series at UNCC (2008-2018). Another highlight was in 2019 when CTC, along with Winthrop University, hosted the World Fastest Old Man, Mr. Charles Allie (as per the New York Times Article).
